ICYMI (like myself until 1 hr ago): THIS changes the whole Campus networking game! This little screenshot was taken from our Lab and it might look like any regular screenshot from a random network topology – buuuuuut it’s a full blown IP-CLOS Campus-Fabric with full IPv6 support (of course this was my first test) running purely on the new virtual EX Switches inside my EVE-NG Lab.
It means that from this day forward, we no longer need to wait for physical boxes to deploy a Juniper MIST Campus Fabric in advance. This also means that we can fully design the whole Fabric (a full blown dry-run including Application-Tests if you have a virtual copy of it) and once the final boxes arrive just add the devices in our Blueprint, remove the virtual ones – done!
Campus-Fabric was already fast and easy – but this makes it even faster to deploy! AWESOME Job Team-Juniper! Tippin my Fedora! Christmas comes early this year! As I’m approaching my final JNCIE attempt I’m pausing my Fabric-posts until the exam is done but you can expect a TON of Articles and Videos about this in January 😉
I promised to shout this out on every channel once it’s possible – here it is 🙂
