I install the junos on a ESXI environment, with latest images available for vjunosrouter, vsjunos switch and Vsrx, however the operation is not good for vjnuos Switch, it takes too much to load and operation is not good. The vjunosRouter works ok most of the time but cannot gracefully shutdown or star using the startup config. The VSRX is the only one that works ok till now.
Have you deploy fully functional ESXI with latest images? (not old ones), if yes, could you create a presentation or share a video about that?
Or my only option is to bare metal the server?, if its the only way, I want to be sure that latest images will work ok before formatting my server…
thank you
The vjunos-Switch is not supported or supposed to run directly on ESX – you need a KVM-based solution like EVE-NG to run the new images.
